Henry and Gayle have gained a well recognised reputation based on providing a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a clean and comfortable environment. Just a 5 minute walk above Strangles beach, Trevigue has all the Cornish wonders right on your doorstep.
Our Crackington Haven Location
Hunkered down just off the South West coast path in a magical place between Bude and Boscastle, Trevigue occupies the rolling pastures which look over Strangles beach and the wildly beautiful stretch of coast which inspired the works of Thomas Hardy.
If you like the buzz of city life and the constant hum of traffic, this is not the North Cornwall holiday spot for you. The beauty of this unique National Trust-owned B&B is that once you arrive you will be greeted by the rhythmic lulling of the ocean, the call of seabirds and the gentle mooing of the cattle which graze the clifftop. Peace and rejuvenation reign at Trevigue farmhouse accommodation, and when you’re sat in the ancient courtyard enjoying your morning coffee and poring over the weekend papers, you’ll see that it’s just the way you like it.
Home-from-home’ best describes this welcoming accommodation in North Cornwall; from the delicious locally-grown home-cooked breakfasts, to the friendly welcome and artsy vibe, as soon as you arrive you will instantly feel like you are where you’re meant to be.
Log fires crackle in the cosy living areas which are stylish adorned with quirky local art and retro furnishings. Curl up in a well-loved armchair to thumb through the latest bestseller, or wile away an afternoon tickling the ivories in the music room. Those who crave a sand-between-toes beach holiday in Cornwall will never tire of scampering down the cliff path to Strangles beach below with its sheltered cove, golden shingle and calm turquoise waters. Care-free days where sandcastles, sandwiches and suncream are your only concerns are days where the most treasured memories are made.
Henry Crocker (the farmer) has lived here at Trevigue for all of his life. He lives here with his wife Gayle and three children, and farms the coastal land on the clifftops above Strangles beach in the most sustainable and natural way possible. The family are passionate about their unique North Cornwall B&B and holiday cottage, are passionate about good local fresh food and of course about providing great holidays! The three children have taken a keen interest in the cooking and preparation of dishes, and Isabel’s mouthwatering cakes and inventive combinations of local ingredients are so wonderfully tempting that they regularly take pride of place on the dinner table.
