How about visiting the breath-taking North Cornish coast steeped in history and magic which has long been the haunt of authors, poets and artists alike?

Here at Trevigue we offer gorgeous warm spaces to unwind, reset and soak up the health benefits of seclusion, Cornish fresh air and the crashing waves of the Atlantic.

This nearly private beach located on Trevigue farm is a mere 20 minutes stroll away from our cottages.  Perfect for that cool dip before a Cornish breakfast in front of a roaring fire.

Self-catered farmhouse accommodation

Situated on the South West coast path, and tucked into the staggering, timeless cliffs of North Cornwall, you’ll enjoy incredible views of the surrounding countryside and the Atlantic ocean beyond.

Our 16th century North Wing self-catered farmhouse at Trevigue offers history married with modern luxuries – the perfect escape for couples wanting to enjoy some time alone, or for friends in need of a catch up.

By luxuries we mean a bake-off style Neff cooker, sumptuous ocre ‘Fired Earth’ tiles, super squidgy ‘LOAF’ chaise sofa, 65 inch OLED Panasonic TV, super luxurious Vi-Spring 6ft bed and REN toiletries to name a few.

This awesome space gives you large areas to stretch out, read and sink into sofas to meditate and relax.

Cornwall holiday cottage for six

As well as the North Wing, you can make memories with your family or friends at our stylish and secluded North Cornwall holiday cottage which sleeps up to six people (perfect given the current Government guidelines) plus a baby.

This quaint and quirky cottage is beautiful to look at and even more comfortable to live in.

Inside you’ll find original oak beams and winding staircases, a bookshelf full of reading material and four stunning bedrooms.

The beauty of this cottage is that you only need to wander onto the cliffs just a stone’s throw away to see the sun disappearing into the sea.

Both properties give you masses of space, warmth and luxury.

Things to do in North Cornwall

You won’t be short of activities during your stay at Trevigue either.

Given our stunning location you can enjoy rambling countryside walks in the area, or head down to nearby Strangles beach where you can enjoy a spot of surfing or wave watching.

If you’re lucky with the weather, Trevigue is perfectly located to enjoy both a sunrise and a sunset, so keep an eye on the forecast – you won’t want to miss it.

Also make sure you take a walk into Crackington Haven for a delicious pub lunch or dinner, as well as a coffee at one of the cafes.

We do like to make guests aware that this is not the place for you if you want hustle and bustle.

Rather, Trevigue is a bolthole for anyone wanting to carve out a few days or more to completely chill in a remote location far away from large crowds and noisy roads.

We’re confident that you’ll leave North Cornwall feeling revived and refreshed, and that you’ll be back whenever you need another time out.

A working farm

As well as beautiful walks and sunsets, you can take in the surroundings of this working Cornish farm and its herd of pedigree North Devon Ruby Red cattle.

There aren’t many herds who enjoy a better life than this.

The cows at Trevigue have a truly free-range lifestyle, feeding on grass and enjoying long lazy days outside in the Cornish fresh air.
