The Holiday Cottage
Idyllically situated on a 200-acre clifftop working National Trust farm which stretches from the breathtaking cliffs at Beeny to the surfing beach of Crackington Haven, Trevigue is a stylish holiday cottage in North Cornwall radiating heart and soul. Hunkered down a winding country lane alive with wildflowers, Trevigue is a very special holiday cottage sleeping six guests (plus 1 baby) and will create the type of Cornish holiday where treasured memories are made. This cottage is very remote, not overlooked and extremely private with its own drive and only a 20 minute walk to the lovely Crackington Haven with 2 cafes and a pub.
The laid-back vibe is perfectly suited to families and friends who want to do nothing but breathe in the healthful salty air and enjoy one another’s company as they set off on sand-between-toes adventures. You’ll find that surfing, beaching and chilling from morning to night is exactly what the doctor ordered.
Inside the Holiday Cottage
Here at Trevigue holiday cottage we pride ourselves on the stylish decor which is underpinned with a delightfully quirky home-from-home charm. We work hard to ensure that the cottage interiors are modern, stylish and most of all, deliciously comfortable. There are many traditional touches such as reclaimed floorboards, old oak beamed ceilings and winding wooden staircases which make this self-catering farmhouse so unique and so utterly alluring. Relax in your choice of two homely living areas, each with real fire and bookshelves lined with page-turners.
Sleeping & Bathing
There are four beautiful first floor bedrooms here at our luxury holiday cottage near Bude. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed adorned with fine linens and supersoft duvets, whilst the second bedroom has a 6ft superking bed which can also be configured as two singles (on prior request). These two bedrooms are accessed from the kitchen up a beautifully-striped carpeted staircase and each has oak-beamed ceilings and views across the fields.
The other two bedrooms can be found at the top of a wooden staircase off the main sitting room. Room three has a single solid oak bed (with a guest mattress underneath suitable for children), and benefits from far-reaching inland views across unspoilt countryside. The final room has a welcoming king size (5ft) bed and is best for watching the sunrise from the vantage point of your cloudsoft pillow. Utterly dreamy.
Trevigue holiday cottage has a large upstairs bathroom with Victorian tiled floor, and vintage-style fittings including a deep bath for soaking in after a long day stomping the North Cornwall coast path. The ground floor shower room has a walk-in shower perfect for washing off sandy toes.
